Sipsey Wilderness Backpacking Excursion

If you are looking to adventure through forests, canyons, enjoy magnificent waterfalls, scenic overlooks, and rushing creeks then backpacking through the Sipsey Wilderness is just for you!

Hiking into the Sipsey River Canyon will transport you into another world that you will find yourself never wanting to leave. The area has been called "The Land of 1,000 Waterfalls" and for good reason. Amazing waterfalls cascade down the cliff into the pristine Sipsey River at almost every turn.

The Sipsey Wilderness is a popular place for backpacking and hiking; however, it should be reserved for the relatively experienced hiker or backpacker or even responsible beginner. The Sipsey Wilderness Area contains no shower house or fresh water facilities so make sure you pack plenty of water. Our seasoned certified guides will teach proper backpacking and hiking etiquette, campsite preparation, clean water collection, campfire food prep, and campsite cleanup using the LNT (Leave No Trace) method.

This excursion is worth taking and will guarantee an amazingly unforgettable adventure!

There is a 6 person max for this excursion. For more information, please contact Angie Shugart at angie@oneworldadventureco.org
