DeSoto Falls Basin Cleanup & Trail Work Day

Partnership between One World Adventure Company & DeSoto State Park

With the high waters lately there is plenty of trash that gets washed over the falls, and really needs to be removed. Help remove debris from below the falls. We know how valuable time can be – we hope you can join us in helping keep Alabama beautiful!
We will provide garbage bags, work gloves (or bring your own if you have them). Snacks, water provided for volunteers.

***Potluck and Little River Waterkeeper Stakeholder meeting following at Desoto State Park Lodge Restaurant in the Canyon room.

Please note: Trail will be moderate-best for seasoned hikers. Less than a mile, but some rugged areas. Rugged, picturesque experience awaits seasoned hikers.

Date: Monday, January 15, 2018
Time: 9:30-12:00
Where: Meet at the Welsh Cave pull off of CR 630 (Desoto Falls Road, about a mile before the DeSoto Falls picnic area)
